In memories of our childhood, Mary's mom used to prepare a fresh batch of Brigadeiro and asked me if I would like to dip a few 'baby cookies' directly into the pot while it’s still warm and enjoy one or two before dinner (Yes, Mary's mom was that cool 😂).
Years later, in Brazil we could find different versions of this as a dessert and we had been dying to bring this idea to our shop and share it with you for a long time now.
And here we go: Two delectably chewy 'cookies' (called 'Bolacha Maria' in Brazil) sandwich, a decadent Brigadeiro filling with 54% chocolate and dipped in Caramel Gold Callebaut chocolate for a contrasting crispiness and caramelized chocolate shell, with a sprinkling of crunchy on top.
The team needs to hide them from Mary, because OMG they are AMAZING!!!
